Restaurant reviews from some places I have visited in the past few months since being back in Spain. You can see all of my reviews at https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Profile/ellelozza?m=19905
La Vita e Bella, Ronda
The restaurant is medium sized, really clean and staff well presented. I went with my boyfriend and the following week we went back again to show my parents. The food was delicious. I had pasta with prawns, courgette and cheese sauce. I wasn’t too sure how it was going to taste but I loved it. We then also shared a pizza because we can never choose between pizza and pasta in an Italian! It was a proper Italian thin base so rather than getting bloated and feeling full you could actually enjoy the food. In my opinion the pice is cheap for what you get. Well worth the visit and we’ll be back!
Las Maravillas, Ronda
I have visited with my family multiple times. The food is always good quality. My favourites are the prawns sharing plate and the burger. Only problem is we can’t seem to find a desert we like as they all have a cinnamon in and it’s not to our personal taste but Spanish do love cinnamon so it’s understandable!
The entrecôte is huge and really worth it. Some of the dishes are a tad expensive but it is such a lovely restaurant to spend an evening. The atmosphere has a real buzz and the staff are always great. The wine selection isn’t bad either!
I love this place, can’t wait to go back.
Restaurant Azahar, Ronda
The staff were really friendly, beautiful place with amazing views. I visited for a wedding years ago which I remember was great. The menu didn’t offer much variety and the atmosphere wasn’t too exciting with the restaurant being quiet. Probably a place I’d like to come back to just to sit on the terrace and have a drink. Very expensive though.
El Chozo, Arriate
Great little local, always buzzing with life. Everyone is welcoming and talks to other tables. Friendly staff, great food and cheap prices. You don’t have to wait long on food as you eat in a tapas style. You can choose which size dishes to order.
El Oceano Beach Hotel, Mijas
We went in December for our staff party, we were a bit of a handful but the staff looked after us really well. The food was incredible and what’s even better is that they kept topping up my glass with Prosecco so I didn’t know how much I was drinking! Beautiful scenery outside aswell, we saw the sun setting on the ocean.
La Tagliatella, Plaza Mayor, Málaga
Garlic oil and prawn pasta was very tasty! It’s nice to sit outside in the square but the building inside is grand and very well designed. Quite romantic for a little date.
Would like to try more from the menu. Prices are decent from what I remember. Would visit again.
Foster’s Hollywood, Plaza Mayor, Málaga
People were having the biggest burgers you’ve ever seen in your life! I need to go back to try them as I’ve heard they are top quality. We had cheesy chips with bacon that were delicious, a massive portion though. We then shared a full rack of ribs to follow. It was in a glaze which was far too sweet to our taste so didn’t eat much but the quality of meat was obviously very good, we will go for a different topping if we visit again.
