Rescue animals are the best

All of my dogs and the cat are street rescues from Bulgaria that we adopted while living there the past few years. My terrapins are also from a previous home in the UK, where the owners decided they weren’t the sort of pet they wanted.

We found Alfie at a carboot. Barney was born in somebody's back garden and fortunately rescued after half of his siblings were eaten by wild jackals. Keano was run over by a car and broke his back, meaning he walks with a little waddle now!  

I’ve had other dogs in the past that I have loved but never known dogs to have so much personality. They really are a great bunch. 

We got Keano when he was about 2 years old. Alfie and Barney were both tiny puppies.

Before any of these animals I never would have considered having a rescue pet but it is definietly the best way to go and I would recommend to anyone to consider getting a rescue pet before looking at breeders. Rescue dogs are 100% the best.
