Your Instagram account might be filled with models who are 'living their best life' but the grass isn't always greener. Don't be fooled by a photo, the great thing with pictures is that you can crop it and edit it, only show what you want people to see which might not necessarily be the truth. You can follow whoever you like. However, please remember it's ok to delete, unfollow and block. You can always find a page again if you desperately miss it but odds are you'll feel a lot better for doing this and forget about whoever it is anyway! Here are 5 accounts or at least 5 types of accounts that I recommend every girl should have on their daily Instagram feed.
Dr. Jolene Brighten (@drjolenebrighten) - I am so pleased that I came across this account. This lady is an expert in women's hormones and her posts can teach you so much. As women, we all know that we have our ups and downs for no reason, random pains and seem to be a different size every morning or even from morning to afternoon. Nobody properly teaches us about our bodies or why you might feel like crying over 'nothing'. This account is full with content about the hormones that do these things to us and how to help regulate everything. There is also a lot on different types of birth control and there is no subliminal messaging with this doctor, she just says it how it is and that's amazing!

Jameela Jamil's i_weigh movement (@i_weigh) - Jameela Jamil has battled with her mental health around weight issues but anyone looking at her would wonder, why? - When she is so gorgeous! The truth is everyone is insecure about something, even if the rest of the World might not see it. For this reason, the i_weigh account is about including everybody, no one has to feel alone, EVER! Social media seriously harms your mental health but by filling your feed with more accounts like this and less instagram models it does balance out so that you can appreciate others without being unappreciative of yourself. We're all different and that's a good thing, what's important is that we're all happy.

Feminist (@feminist) - Honestly, to begin with I would joke about feminism because I didn't understand what it was all about. I thought that it was a bunch of women who wanted an excuse to act 'manly'. But wow have I learnt a lot since then and now I'm huge on the movement. Feminism by definition is the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. Strong women have opened my eyes up to the real ways of the World and how they do need to change. To be a feminist you don't have to burn your bra, you don't have to stop shaving and you don't have to hate men. It's not about that, it's about children not being forced into under age marriage and sex trafficking. It's about young girls having access to education. It's about being paid the same as men for the same jobs. That one has impacted on my life personally. But it goes both ways, feminist's also want men to feel as though they can express their emotions and for people to understand that men can be discriminated against just the same. It's a call for equality! Anyway, this account helped with my feminism education a lot and is definitely worth the follow. Remember, anyone who laughs at feminism is laughing at all the people that these issues affect every day and their lives are worse for it.

Ditch the Label (@ditchthelabel) - An anti-bullying charity who believe in a World that is fair, equal and free from all forms of bullying. We are all pretty much guaranteed to be part of this one, most likely we've all been bullied as well as having bullied someone else. It doesn't have to be the stealing lunch money and dunking someones head down the toilet like you see on the TV. It can be turning people into simple labels because of their gender, toxic relationships, putting others down, the list goes on with this subject. This account is filled with inspiration and a good place to share your feels, plus it's a charity so you can donate to help everyday people living with bullying. Help the cause.

An account that will inspire you - What you surround yourself with will become parts of who you are. Who do you want that person to be? Whether you have an artistic, creative side or like a good quote every now and then, there will be an account that will get you motivated. Personally, I like to keep tabs on @elisabethrioux because this lady is fulfilling her life goals in business and travel plus she always posts really long captions with her life stories and knows the struggle. She is skinny and pretty which for some reason gets her a lot of negative comments as it always does with celebs but she expresses a lot on how she feels about that but above all stays kind and ignores the haters. In addition to this she has an amazing pack of huskies and I like seeing the photos of them...
